Luggage Size for Flights

If you are moving to Saskatchewan as a permanent resident, you may be tempted to bring a lot of your personal items with you.

However, there is a limit to how much baggage can come in with you on the plane (some might have to go in the cargo bay as checked luggage) as most International airlines have different restrictions for carry-on luggage.

Your baggage weight might also depend on the flight class you booked, for instance, Egyptair has different baggage weight for business class (32kg per piece), Economy class (23 kg per piece) for international routes. Baggage allowed for infants will also differ.

Always remember to verify the dimensions and weight of your checked and carry-on baggage. If your bags exceed the allowed size, your airline might charge you additional fees

If you are travelling alone, most airlines allows one carry-on bag and one personal item. As long as your backpacks matches with the airline’s specification, you should have no trouble at all.

Again, it is always best to check with your airline first to get their exact requirements.

We wish you a safe trip to Saskatchewan!
