Moose Jaw

  The name Moose Jaw is from a Cree name, Moscâstani-sîpiy, meaning “a warm place by the river”. It is a city in southern Saskatchewan. The Moose Jaw Tunnels are widely linked to Al Capone. By the Trans-Canada Highway, there is a huge sculpture called Mac the Moose. Buildings downtown are adorned with vibrant murals depicting events from the city’s past.
