Prince Albert is the third-largest city in Saskatchewan, after Saskatoon and Regina. On the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, it is located not far from the province’s center. It was established as a logging center in the early 1900s and was named after Queen Victoria’s consort. Currently, Prince Albert acts as a distribution hub for the uranium and gold mining operations in northern Saskatchewan.
